CCMIS (certificate courses in mental imagery sciences (Approved by SET council, Central government of India)) is a two month course designed for professional mainstream graduates in Psychology, MBBS, BDS, Nurses, MSW and physiotherapists. However graduates in alternative stream in BAMS, BHMS and BUMS can apply for the course through special recommendation protocols of the institution by accessing the basic knowledge in neuro-anatomy and neurophysiology. Mental imagery is an emerging concept in idealistic neuroscience, which studies in great detail of how mental imageries generated in the mind can influence specific brain areas and elicit specific emotions which cascades itself to events from brain to body through psycho-neuro-immuno- endocrine responses. There therapeutic applications of mental imagery will be studied and practically applied, step by step in correlation with brain activation giving spurious and fascinating results with therapeutics, we use in the course. Mental imagery is the basic sciences a beginner should learn in order to understand the offshoots of diverse therapeutics and interventions of mental imagery used specifically for different fields in medicine. Yearly continuing medical education will be provided after the certificate course for updating recent advancements in the field of mental imagery sciences from journals and experts. The course syllabus consists of a theory book and a work book which will be provided by the institution, this will be followed by intensive coaching and mental imagery training.
